New Life Covid-19 Safety Guidelines For In-Person Worship

We are excited to see everyone in person again! However, in order to keep us healthy and safe, there are a few things you should be mindful of:

 

  • Do not attend in-person services if you are feeling unwell. To ask for healing prayers please contact us online. 

  • When entering the church, you will enter the southwest door and proceed down the center aisle. An usher will assist you in finding a socially distanced seats. 

  • Family units will be sitting together and children must sit in the sanctuary with their family.

  • When exiting the church, use the side aisles.

  • Face masks are required at all times inside the building

  • Social distancing is a must! Try to refrain from handshakes and hugs and switch it out for a wave instead!

  • There will be greeters at the door to check and record your temperature as you enter the building. Record of your attendance will be kept and can be used for contact tracing if necessary

  • Please do not enter the building unless the greeter is present

  • Face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be readily available for use

  • There will be no hymnals, bibles or paperwork will be in the pews

  • Offering plates are placed in the sanctuary entrance and will not be passed through the pews. Online giving is available as well.

  • New Life will have designated pews and they are labeled

  • We will not sing as a congregation as well as not reading prayers or liturgies during worship service

  • Restrooms will have single access and will be sanitized after service by that week’s sanitizing volunteer. Doorknobs and light switches will also be wiped down after service.

  • There will be a signup sheet to volunteer for usher, greeter and sanitizers (2) in the front, bring your own pen from home or take a clean pen and after use put it in the designated can for used pens and pencils, used pens and pencils will be cleaned after service for next week. All adults are expected to take their turns at all positions.

  • Children’s Ministry and Nursery will not be available at Phase 4.


  • Services will continue on Facebook live for our folks who feel safer at home.


  • If for any reason mitigations change, we will move to online worship
